The first group of Ignite Buddies had to do a collective work in coordinating their first public event immediately after their induction training. the team worked very well together, with a minimum participation and outcomes of 0% violence event. The event was to raise fund to cover costs of the event itself, and was not meant for profit making, although it was a success as the attendance was average but managed to cover the costs. It was a refreshing and conducive experience for the whole team, and we appreciate the support from LGBTQI+ community.

The first group of Ignite Buddies underwent Induction training to equip them on how the organizational structure, communication channels and their roles in their communities as Buddies. Consent Agreements were signed as the work is on voluntary basis, with a minimal stipend fee for some activities, hence we did not make use of contracts due to lack of salary budgets. However, all the possibilities were made open by the financial assistance we received from The Other Foundation, their support is making our work blossom.
